I have been an astronomer for 55 years and have used binoculars a lot. These binos are seriously impressive if you are after long range performance. The ED glass really helps keep things sharp with good, natural color. They are built tough and are waterproof, dustproof and feel solid in hand. The 56mm lenses pull in a lot of light too, so they work well in low light and even a bit of stargazing.
I am somewat surprised at the excellent imagery of these. The contrast, color and definition I find are quite good and the binoos do not feel that heavy to me.
These feel premium straight away. ED glass makes a big diference, less glare and sharper details. Not small or light but performance is worth it.
They are seriously sharp, but for me the 15x is too shakey handheld unless I m resting my elbows on something. Amazing binoculars, just not the right style for quick casual use.
Incredible detail and super bright, but 15 times zoom is definitely better with something to brace on. I still love them, just takes a bit of technique to hold steady.
